FILLIPE PACHECO
TEMPORARY TATTOOS ALREADY SIGNED THE WAY
Since he was a child, Fillipe has always loved drawing and at the age of 6 he loved the temporary tattoos that his mother bought at magazine stands, around the age of 8 he discovered his passion for tattoos when he saw a tattooed person for the first time, that made him curious and fascinated.
In 2003, at the age of 20, he started giving tattoos to neighbors, college friends and acquaintances, until one day he realized that he was already a tattoo artist and that was what he wanted to do with his life.
20 YEARS DEDICATED TO THE ART OF TATTOO
Driven by curiosity and the search for new techniques and new materials, he was the Brazilian Artist who pioneered Microrealism Tattooing with the Single Needle technique at the beginning of 2016.
He then started traveling in search of professional development, since then he has tattooed in several countries in Europe and North America, in 2021 he lived and worked in NYC at the renowned Bang Bang Tattoo studio.
1 STYLE AND MANY POSSIBILITIES
Fillipe works with the Black and Gray style, within which he takes different paths when interpreting each image and photograph.
It uses two ways of fitting the designs onto the body, one looser and freer where the tattoo lands autonomously and the other the search is for the perfect fit of the art on the human body, making the tattoo look like a garment or a birthmark. , something that has always been there.
In larger projects he uses images from Renaissance paintings, parts of architectural works from the same period and elements that contribute to the composition, such as landscapes, clouds and other more abstract elements.
In smaller designs he loves to immortalize what is important to the client, such as family portraits, travel photographs and portraits of pets that symbolize an affectionate memory.
Another theme that appears a lot in his works are those of homage to some artistic expression or element of pop culture. For example, a portrait of a musician or an album cover, a favorite scene from a film/series, a favorite actor/character and even a reproduction of a famous painting.
